What should I do first?

Your first step to joining is creating an introduction. This is a must. Our introduction forum can be found here: http://cp-rs.com/for...-introductions/

Now you will need to find the application form on this topic, copy the form and create a new topic, paste what you copied and fill it in to the best of your abilities. If you need help with screenshots, the rules, TeamSpeak 3, or IRC you can find it somewhere on this topic or use the table of contents above. Submit and post it once you have completed it.

Once your application is posted please give it to staff members to look over and so we can help you improve on anything needed. Keep in mind you have approximately 1 week to "perfect" your application. Most applications are not perfect the first time they are posted so be ready to make changes to your applications. If you have any questions do not be afraid to ask a staff member. If you have made needed changes please let a staff member know so we can get a message back to you ASAP.

If you are concerned about not having the requirements to join yet, simply post your application and work on getting them. Please keep in mind though you only have one full week to make the required changes to your application unless said otherwise. Fully read everything on this topic to assure your application is perfected.

When can I come to events?

After your application and introduction are posted, please show up to an event 30 minutes before it begins. The gathering location changes weekly so make sure you are in IRC or the clan chat before the event begins to know where we will be meeting up. Make sure you find a leader to add you to the clan chat once you have shown them your application. Make sure you are on TeamSpeak with your RuneScape name. After an event you may be removed from the clan chat, this does not mean you are declined, it just means you are not accepted yet. In this time period you should continue improving your application and attending events to become accepted.

- Please remember you need TeamSpeak 3 and access to IRC to join Corrupt Pures.
- Please note just posting your application isn't good enough. We will have you make changes and require you to update your application if you want to be accepted.

IRC

You can access our IRC channel many different ways, including mIRC, a SwiftIRC web client, or SwiftKit. The most popular way our IRC channel is accessed is SwiftKit. If you do not want to download anything go here to use a web IRC client: http://swiftirc.net/....php?page=chat. Once you are there pick the qwebirc or PJIRC link, then simply enter the info the same as the final step of the Swift Kit below. We will show you a guide to getting to our IRC channel using SwiftKit below.

Now that you have it downloaded, begin running it.

It will now give you some profile options, choose the Default one.

Once you open it a huge program will open, it may seem a little overwhelming but it is very useful. To play RuneScape using this just hit Play RS on the top right.

Now, you need to open IRC, the cool thing about SwiftKit is you can view our IRC channel and play RS at the same time. Near the bottom right hand side you will see a "Show Internal Utilities"  button, click that. You will now see four tabs, click the Pac Man tab. It should look like this.

Once you have entered that information click Connect. It may suggest that you have to type I Agree before moving, just do that. Grats! You should now be in our IRC channel.

TeamSpeak 3

We use TeamSpeak 3. We require you to have this program because it helps us function as a clan if we can physically hear as clan where we should be or what we should be doing. You can download it here: http://www.teamspeak...?page=downloads

To connect to our server open the client and click Connect.

Then enter the personal Corrupt Pures information and hit Connect. If you do not have the information to our TeamSpeak simply ask an official.

Clan Rules

These rules are simple and we expect you to follow them, you will be removed from the clan if you don't. Please fully read them if you plan on applying. WE WILL KNOW IF YOU DIDN'T!

1) No teleporting during a clan event.

2) No skipping events, if you are online you must attend.

3) No hacking or scamming of any kind is tolerated in CP.

4) Do not disrespect any member within the clan. This means any sort of discrimination such as race.

5) No multi clanning. We do make some exceptions if you are apart of a country clan.

6) Do not attack people in CP unless they are aware you are going to do so.

7) Lastly, please follow instructions, if we tell you to do something, please do it.

Clanning Terms

DD/Death Dot: Everyone stands in one spot in game.
Fall In/C In: Follow the designated leader.
Off: Stop attacking or do not attack.
Pile: Everyone attack the same person.
C "Name": This is what you spam in game by typing. C stands for the clan and the name is where you put part of the player's name you are attacking. Making it known to the other CP members where a pile is beginning. It is not recommended to start your own piles but always make sure you are doing damage.
Spread: Not standing next to another player.
Clump: Standing near another player.
Tank: Eating your food quickly and not dying. Using hugging and dragging is sometimes recommended.
Hug: Using an object such as a tree to get your opponent stuck when tanking.
Drag: When being piled, taking all the people attacking you to wherever you want.
Return: Once you die in a fight, getting back to it.
