July is here and the month ahead is looking to be an interesting one for Old School RuneScape, here is a little insight into what will be coming up.
Clan cup registration and tournament begins
Last week we put up a developer blog detailing how we imagined the Clan Cup. After reading through the much needed feedback that players have given, the Clan Cup has been re-worked and registration will be opened up on July 7th with the first events taking place on July 14th. There will be a total of 12 cups for clans to take part in and the winners will become permanent fixtures in the landscape of Old School, who will you be rooting for?Artisan poll
Artisan has been at the forefront of the minds of many players since it was announced as the new skill. With the pages upon pages of feedback from passionate players, the Artisan skill has been refined to a point where we feel it is ready to be polled. A little later on in the month players will have the chance to have their say and, once again, help shape the future of Old School.
New pets
In an upcoming poll players will be able to choose whether or not they want to see new, boss monster pets introduced into Old School RuneScape. If you are a fan of the pet chaos elemental, you now have an opportunity to see more miniature menaces introduced into Old School.
Graphical reworks
Another update to be polled this month will be the graphical rework of several in-game items. If you have ever felt like the Odium ward, Malediction ward or Dragon pickaxe aren't fancy enough, July is the month for you.

Ahh… Bounty hunter… The good ol’ days, right? Well, now might be your chance to relive them. The update itself may still be a while off, however the first developer blog for bounty hunter is set to go up this month and will be shortly accompanied by a poll.
Bounty hunter is an update that the players are sure to be excited about, and we will be in need of all the feedback we can get to really do it justice.
In-game polls
Towards the end of July we hope to see a highly anticipated update for Old School, one that will definitely help with getting all kinds of players invested in the future of the game… In-game polls.
The poll system that helps shape Old School into a game that the players want is something that is invaluable to the community, and to us. In-game polls will make more players aware of the impact that they can have, and will make sure that everyone can have their say.
Community streams & developer Q&A
And finally, this month will see the conclusion of the 1000 clue casket series that has been the subject of the last two community streams. With hard and elite clue caskets still to come, will we see any third age?
As always there will be a constant flow of livestreams, including the developer Q&A every Thursday and numerous guest streamers, on the RuneScape Twitch.tv channel.
