Although we are a pure clan and the requirements are a lot less strict on supplies/returns, you do need to step up and put in a little bit of money towards your returns.
Here's an idea of what a main clan expects from you in a F2P & P2P Return Tab
This is what EVERY member is REQUIRED to have. It's not an option, you can't even apply if you don't have over 50+ Sets for both servers.
Now we aren't asking you to buy 100 rune sets, 3K Black chinchompas and 200+ Black D'hide Sets, but we would like to see some uniformity in your returns. Not having 2 rune crossbows, 13 black d'hide chaps and 50 diamond bolts. Try to have atleast 25+ Returns at all times. That is, 25 of EVERYTHING and enough supplies to return (500 Sharks, 50+ brews, 50+ restores etc).
Green D'hide Chaps: 2.3K x 25 =57,500gp
Green D'hide Vambs: 1.4K x 25 =35,000gp
Adamant Arrow: 78gp x 100 x 25 = 195,000gp
Monk's Robe Top: 1K x 25 = 25,000gp
Power amulet: 2.6K x 25 = 65,000gp
Anchovy Pizza: 900gp x 25 x 25= 562,500
Rune scimitar: 10 x 25 = 250,000
Coming to a grand total of 1,190,000. Just a little over 1M! Can you really not afford to buy 25 F2P Return sets? Even at 20 or 30 def, your 25 returns can easily be purchased for under 2M. The idea of F2P Weekend Trips are not to make money, they are not meant to loot as many rune scims as you can, or leave the wilderness with 1K+ addy arrows, they're meant to fight clans. Weekday trips such as lavas trips as meant to make money with the clan. Pking at chins, 44 ports, east drags are all meant to make money with the clan, but not on Saturday and Sunday.
P2P Sets are a different story. P2P Return sets are much more expensive, but you will die much less often. Even 25 Sets is very cheap.
Black D'hide Chaps: 5.6k x 25 = 140,000
Mithril Gloves: 1.9K x 25 = 47,500
Amulet of Glory: 30k x 25 = 750,000
Rune Crossbow: 10.4K x 25 = 260,000
Death Runes: 258 x 150 x 25 = 967,500
Blood Runes: 214 x 150 x 25 = 802,500
Water Staff: 1K x 25 = 25,000
Sharks: 900 x 20 x 25 = 450,000
Saradomin brews: 5K x 3 x 25 = 375,000
Super Restores: 12K x 3 x 25 = 900,000
Diamond Bolts: 430 x 50 x 25 = 537,500
That's a grand total of 5.2M. Honestly it's 2016, if you don't have 5.2M in your bank just go grab your credit card and buy some gold. Even if you do not want to purchase some gp, just go to Zulrah or go boss for a few hours and there goes your P2P Return tab for a month or two. I currently have 1K P2P Return sets in gear, and around 3K sharks, 20K Death runes, 20K Blood Runes, 1K Brews and 600 Restores. I will not have to worry about returns for a long time. This is your end-goal if you want to become a solid member of CP.
Our biggest problem with new members and even some experienced members in P2P is that we clump up in fights, thus leading to easy barrage clumps with chinchompas for the other clan. This makes it pretty much impossible for the people in the clump to survive, along with impossible for them to do any damage.
Mithril Seeds are a great item if you find yourself in clumps very often. These will force your character to move one square west. If you're in a clump, click two of them and you're suddenly out of it.
As you can see, this video shows a really good tank in P2P. He pray switches when needed to, knows when a D Scim is going to come so he prays melee, and prevents any high hits from praying what most of the attackers are doing. Not everyone is going to be able to tank like this, but it doesn't take much skill. This only takes practice. Show up to P2P Miniwars with good gear and nobody will have a problem with you being there. A master wand, an occult and a d-scim is all you really need to be able to fight.
You should know by now that it's shark, brew, pneck. An essential part of tanking in P2P is having your phoenix necklace on. It will break when you're under 40 HP and heal you. If it breaks, immediately throw another one on. Sometimes they will not break as you will die from more than 40 damage, but that should not happen if you're not getting attacked by 6+ people or if you're praying the right style.
Knowing who to attack in preps, and even in the wilderness is the key to winning. There are two styles of calling: Directional and Singular. If you're told to go east, just move east and make sure youre doing damage. If we call a single pile, do damage until you find the person we are calling. Continue right clicking until you find the right person.
Here are some keys to know who to attack as they are standing out:
Now here's the way to know where to be, and the red arrows are idiots who died during the prep as they were inside the other clan.
The blue represents CP, Green represents a shit clan. If you are inside of the other clan and you see someone in CP fall, predict you will be the next pile. Same thing with attacking, if you see us kill someone, predict the next pile. Don't just stand there and wait until you hear the next call.
