If you have very bad lower back or a very vulnerable lowerback that you occasionally feel pain,Avoid bent over barbell rows at all cost if so(ik i do).But if you don`t, its a very good exercise

thats one way. Another way would be to get yourself a bench to lay down on. Don't lay down on it though. Grap your dumbbell of your choice weight, put it on one side of the bench. Now, what you want to do is this

Lets say the dumbbell is on the left side of the bench, Put your right knee on the bench, and your right hand on the bench, and bend over like you're getting it doggy style lol. then keep your left leg straight and grab the dumbbell with your left hand. Lift it up to your chest and try not to pump it with your back.

Do it the opposite way with your right side
