I tried to get events this whole week vs. pure clans that are "alive". This includes EoP, FOE, MM, EF, and HI.

As you can see, no clan is wanting to fight and I'm not sure if this is going to change. Because of the lack of pure clan related events, this could in the long run hurt CP. We have no intentions of closing CP or anything of that nature, but we as a staff have interest in becoming a main clan, competing for the top 5 eventually and continuing to run this community as one of the best in the game.
You might ask, what would be expected of me if CP does indeed become a main clan? You would be responsible for obtaining an account with 200 combat in F2P, i'm not even sure what combat stats are required for this but that is what would be the ultimate goal for your accounts. You could train defense on your account you currently use for CP or simply find your old main. Return sets, you would need around 20+ rune sets and other supplies that is needed while main clanning. We could try and help you afford this but eventually you would need to support yourself.
We would expect CP to be your main priority, simply joining CP on your main and then going to one of the 5 dead pure clans would not be acceptable.
Let's be honest, Evolution of Combat has been here for a week or so and we have only had PKRI's vs. main clans. We arguably raped in those fights and just imagine if we had defense. Now you could say "we don't need to train defense we are already competiting with these clans" you are right, but to work our way up the ranks we would need to continually recruit people to CP. We do not have time to recruit people because our lack of events would counter our recruiting efforts. Not only is it the logical thing to do if it comes down to it but it would bring fun and hype to CP.
Our leadership and memberbase is fully capable of holding our own in the main clan world. We have a handful of callers and dedicated members making the transition easy, we would just need to work on our stats. Also keep in mind P2P clanning in general has been dead even before the update, we would be strictly F2P and we would rarely venture into P2P unless it was a community related event like killing an NPC.
