I'd actually recommend what Boothie said, especially after all what you want to do is based around computers. Would save you a shit ton of money. Only do that if you plan on staying super close to home.

yeah, but going out of town to somewhere foreign just seems so exciting to me lol. my own dorm/apartment, it's basically a new beginning

better to leave and know the rest of the world is shitty then to be left wondering. Besides, college is some of the best years of your life and its a hell of a lot better not having a leash on you lol
