Community Status Updates

"Have you ever contemplated why we're so concerned about a 'minimum' wage, as opposed to a 'maximum' wage? Do you not find it insulting that our time is not valued (except as enforced by our government) by the corporations and people that rely on us for their success? They are minimizing their expenses and maximizing their profits, using us as cheap labor. It's modern-day slavery that tricks people into thinking we're free to do as we please, but we can't because we're raised and trapped in this financial system that forces us to sell our free time and lives away until the day we retire and/or die."
