How to use mIRC for free

This tutorial will teach you how to use the mIRC client and avoid the 30 day trial. You only have to do the first two steps if you have ever installed mIRC ( NOT SWIFT KIT )

Requirements: Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8

**Step 1.) Removing all old/new mIRC program's from your computer. Click Start -> Control Panel ->Programs/AddorRemove Programs -> Uninstall mIRC

**Step 2.) Click Start -> My Computer/Computer -> Double click your hard drive( More than likely your C Drive ) -> Program Files (x86) for 32 bit users & Program Files for 64 bit users. This will be called Program Files in windows xp.

Step 3.) You may start on this step if you did not previously install mIRC. Click, download, and install the following link - http://www.cp-rs.com...ads/mirc631.exe Normally any anti virus or browser will stop your PC from downloading .exe files. I have it zipped here http://www.cp-rs.com/downloads/mirc631.zip

Step 4.) You may now use mIRC. When the thirty day trial is up perform the following: Start -> Run -> regedit -> Expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Expand Software -> Scroll down to mIRC -> Expand mIRC -> Delete the entire last run folder. -> Restart mIRC

Good guide. mIRC is #1 for IRC. I suggest you guys download this so you don't have to use qwebirc (the web client).

Yeah Swiftkit/mIRC are both the best IRC programs to use. mIRC just lets you use scripts and has a different look/colors to it.
