I've been reading all the reddit threads that came out about this today. Very interesting.
And for all of you who think that jagex should sell gp to the black market on the side aren't thinking about long term profitability. A reputable company with integrity will be much more profitable if they have a customer base that trusts them. The short term money would not be worth the PR nightmare that would ensue if anyone found out Jagex condoned such behavior. It would be the same as any government printing money. It would lead to inflation, and if anyone found out about this, the currency would be severely devalued.

However, I've been saying it for years to my close friends, that Jagex is definitely selling gold. Whether it be single employees (perhaps Reach/Jacmob) or the company as a whole, something is definitely going on... Any person in their right mind would sell something that costs them literally nothing to make. If jagex was really smart, they would bulk sell max cash to the chinks for $1.50/Mil and once they x-fer the gold over, just ban that account. RIP
