Our forum activity is incredibly poor.

Some Math:

Our forums have had 15,600 posts roughly since they were opened on September 2.

Remove the Spam Forum posts (Topics/Posts with no content) and that number drops to 5,600.

We have roughly 55 active members, 107 registered.

The two numbers above are an issue to begin with.

In 18 days, 5,600 posts for 107 members would be an average of 2.9 posts a day by every member.

Before anyone says, "Well all 107 of those members aren't active", I have two responses.

1. Why aren't they active? Why are our forums so uninteresting that they have no desire to post regularly?

2. Even if we had 80 registered persons, the average posts would be only 1 post higher per member.

The point of this being our forums aren't nearly active enough in any aspect. If that doesn't make you understand then please just bear with me.

Earlier Chain posted a topic in Announcements, the most important forum on this site other than Applications. After a few minutes it had 4 posts and 15 views with 3 people viewing it currently.

I really don't know how difficult it is to type something brief in the reply box and press "Reply"?

Every topic should be like this. Our forums are incredibly dull. Activity from members is all that's needed to bring them to life.

The same goes for the public forums.

Post as much as you can on them, and never be afraid to post a topic. Even if you're topic is utter shit (Most of mine) you're still increasing the activity of the forums with each topic.

For most of you:

Tl;dr: Post replies, topics, have as many people register as possible, actually TELL people about the website, and last but not least view them regularly, even if you're just leaving your browser open without looking at them. Just be active generally.

Can't agree more guys. It's not that our forums are necessarily inactive, but if you view a topic PLEASE respond to it.

If you guys put the extra effort in to simply make a reply, our clan becomes more attractive to other people.

Put in that extra effort and you will be rewarded.

yep it just makes you look bad when your one of the first people registered on these forums and you have like 50 total posts...
take the time to post 5 or maybe 6 times a day and our forums activity will increase in no time
