EDIT: guide's outdated, you can get ratted and it wont show up in msconfig so yh.


since people r still getting ratted (lol) here's how to avoid them nd disable them

to avoid getting ratted just dont click any suspucious links , dont play unknown rsps'
just use ur brain lol


here's how to disable it

go to start and type msconfig




afterwards this will pop up


this is a normal screen , but if your ratted you'll have this


notice: Not all the unknown programs are RAT's , so dont worry
untick the box , and restart your pc


when you've restarted your pc, go to system restore and click more system restore points. click the furthest away one , and system restore your pc.
when you've system restored your pc your almost done. go to your browser and delete the cookies and the cache. when you've done this change all your passwords and re-enter them.


when you've done all of that typ @ start

%appdata% nd press enter and delete any .exe which are not stored in folders
do the same with %temp%

Just keep your anti-virus software up to date and do regular scans. Don't click any suspicious links, if your getting pm's or emails by someone you don't know, then it's probably to good to be true
