The Great North Run
Hey guys, i'm going to be running a half marathon which is approximately 13.1 miles. One of my life goals is to complete a full marathon so I guess a half marathon would be a good start. As well as for myself, i'm doing this run to raise money for charity. I will be running on Sunday 16th September 2012 and I will be counting down on this topic which will include the distances I've been running over the next 2 weeks.
I'm already in pretty good shape and I'm confident I will do well. So anyways, my current routine just consists of running various distances. At the moment I've been aiming for a mile every 10 minutes which I can comfortably achieve. In terms of my daily supplements, I only take multivitamins and fish oil tablets. Around 30 minutes after my 'workout' I drink my protein shake and repeat in my next session.
