The Great North Run

Hey guys, i'm going to be running a half marathon which is approximately 13.1 miles. One of my life goals is to complete a full marathon so I guess a half marathon would be a good start. As well as for myself, i'm doing this run to raise money for charity. I will be running on Sunday 16th September 2012 and I will be counting down on this topic which will include the distances I've been running over the next 2 weeks.

I'm already in pretty good shape and I'm confident I will do well. So anyways, my current routine just consists of running various distances. At the moment I've been aiming for a mile every 10 minutes which I can comfortably achieve. In terms of my daily supplements, I only take multivitamins and fish oil tablets. Around 30 minutes after my 'workout' I drink my protein shake and repeat in my next session.

01/09/12: 8.40 Miles

03/09/12: Rest

04/09/12: 3.25 Miles - Faster Pace; Higher Intensity

06/09/12: Circuit training - Feeling Lazy..

07/09/12: Rest - I'm So Fucking Lazy

08/09/12: 5.38 Miles; Hot Day >.<

09/09/12: Rest

10/09/12: Tired from a long day out yesterday.

11/09/12: 3.24 Miles

12/09/12: Fuck running, it's time to lift again!!!
