~ Introduction.
Runecrafting is one of those skills that takes hard work and alot of time to train. And as far as I know most people find it very boring.

~ Getting Started.
• Complete Rune Mysteries quest (Little bit work, no long quest) because after this quest you can mine your own Rune/Pure Essence and you'll get a air talisman. --> Click here for quest.

• Complete miniquest Abyss (THIS IS A MUST) because when you've completed this quest you can get pouches which you fill with Rune/Pure essence and repair the pouches there for free when they decayed. --> Click here for quest.


~ Recommended Level Training.

• Level 1-14 [AIR RUNES]
Do air runes till level 14, because it goes pretty quick and if you do other runes while you supposed to do air runes it takes time to get ready for a other altar and that's only like 1-2 xp per rune more.
Location : South-West of Cooking's Guild // South-East of Barbarian Village.
Items needed : Rune Essence, Pickaxe, Small Pouch, Varrock Teleport Tab, Glory (For when pouch is decayed).

When you're there craft your runes and empty your pouch(es).
Than use Varrock teleport tab, and bank in varrock WEST bank to refill your pouches+inventory again and repeat.

• Level 14-44 [FIRE RUNES]
Fire runes till level 44. Buy some ring of duelling (8)'s and Amulet of Glory (4)'s.
Location : West of Duel Arena.
Items needed : Rune Essence, Ring of Duelling, Pickaxe, Small Pouch (and Medium Pouch if you can), Glory (For when you forgot to withdraw Ring of Duelling.

Rub your Ring of Duelling to Duel Arena, run to the altar, craft the runes, empty your pouches, rub your Ring of Duelling to Castle Wars and bank there. >> Than repeat it all again.

• Level 44-75 (99) [NATURE RUNES [GRAAHKING]]
This is where the cash is coming a bit, like 200k cash/h or so (And 1m+ cash/h at 91+) (Depends on your Runecrafting level).
Buy alot of Ring of Duelling (8)'s and Glory (4)'s.
There are 2 ways to the Nature Altar, The fastest way and a little bit slower one.

Fastest Round (57 Summoning needed).
Location : North of Shilo Village.
Items needed : Pure Essence, Spirit Graahk, Pickaxe, Energy potions, Ring of Duelling, Amulet of Glory, Small Pouch, Medium Pouch, Large/Giant Pouch if you can (Don't do more than 3 pouches in your inventory, I'll explain later in Tips & Tricks.

Summon your Spirit Graahk and Click on it, than click on Teleport. You will be Teleported close to Shilo Village.
Use my Map to know where you need to go. Than click on the Nature Altar and craft your runes, empty your pouches and teleport to Castle Wars by Your Ring of Duelling. Than bank and repeat again. If you're very fast you can get like 30k xp/h. http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Little bit Slower Round (Abyss).
Location : Abyss.
Items needed : Pure Essence, Pickaxe, Energy potions, Ring of Duelling (For if you forgot to withdraw glory), Amulet of Glory, Small Pouch, Medium Pouch, Large/Giant Pouch if you can, and D'hide if you want to (for protection from the revenants).

Bank @ Edgevillage, than run like on the map to the wizard in the wilderness and right click teleport. Than use one of the passages to the middle of the Abyss, like squeeze-through Gap (Agility) and find the Nature Altar entrance at the north of the middle (look at the Abyss Map). If you are a very fast Runecrafter you could get like 23-24k xp/h here. http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif

This is the Equipment i wear when I'm Runecrafting Nature Runes.

• Level 75-91 (99) [ZMI ALTAR]
Zmi Altar (Also known as Ourania Altar) is the fastest xp/h with Runecrafting. At level 75 it's like 35-40k xp/h if you're fast. But after you hit like 85 it's more like 55k xp/h, so that's pretty amazing xp/h for Runecrafting. But most people just do Nature runes till 99 because that's sick Cash/h. http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png And Zmi is not sick Cash/h. http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_razz.gif
You also need to have Completed Lunar Diplomacy for Lunar Magics.
From level 75 you won't lose any money here but you also won't make much money. http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_wink.gif
So I recommend this untill level 91.
Location : Ourania Altar (North of Observatory).
Items needed : Pure Essence, Law Runes, Astral Runes, Mystic Mud Staff, Lots of Fire Runes (Pay bank with), All pouches you can, Familair (Abyssal Lurker/Parasite/Titan/Terrorbird), If you choose Terrorbird as Familair you'll need Tireless Run Scrolls, and good defence armour (Recommend D'hide).

Open Magic book and click Ourania Teleport. Than walk like on the map to the entrance. Bank with the banker there, you'll need to pay 30 runes of a type every time you bank, so it's best to use Fire Runes (Cheap and easy to buy). Than once you've banked follow my way on the map and craft your runes, empty your pouches, empty your familair and teleport Ourania again and repeat it all again. When one of your pouch is decayed use NPC Contact and than click on The Dark Wizard, and he will repair it again.

~ Xp Per Hour Rates. [ONLY THE METHODS IN THIS GUIDE]
Air Runes : ~5.5k
Fire Runes : ~15k
Nature Runes [GRAAHK] : ~27.5-32k
Nature Runes [ABYSS] : ~24k
Zmi Altar : @ Lvl 75 : ~35-40k
Lvl 80 : ~45k
Lvl 90 : ~50k
Lvl 99 : ~55-60k

~ Various Road's to 99.
Most money earned >> 1-14 Air Runes >> 14-44 Fire Runes >> 44-60 Nats >> 60-82 Nats/Deaths/Laws >> 82-91 Double Astrals >> 91-99 Double Nats. [YOU WILL GAIN ABOUT 400M+ WITH THIS METHOD].

Quickest way >> 1-14 Air Runes >> 14-44 Fire Runes >> 44-70 Nats >> 70-99 Zmi Altar. [HARDLY ANY MONEY EARNED].

Most Efficient Method [CASH & XP COMPARED] >> 1-14 Air Runes >> 14-44 Fire Runes >> 44-70 Nats >> 70-91 Zmi >> 91-95 (99) Nats >> 95-99 Zmi.

~ Tips & Tricks.
• Wear Weight reducing clothes. Click Here.

• Wear a Omni Tiara (Can enter all altars). Click here.
• Use the Graahk Boost. When you Teleport with your graahk, click the whole time on the map and when you've teleported your player will boost run a bit. http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_wink.gif This only speeds up like 1-2 seconds/lap but compared to xp/h it makes a pretty much difference. http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_wink.gif
• Use Mousekeys. Click Here.
• When your out of summoning points, drink a summoning potion or renew your points at a obelisk (Like on the lap of Nats graahking).
• When you're 75+ use 3 Pouches instead of 4, it's faster and u don't have to bank twice. http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_wink.gif
• Get a special Runecrafting Tab in your bank.
• Use a Inferno Adze (92 Fireamking Needed + All Fired Up). It can be used as a Pickaxe and as a Hatchet, extremely handy for using the Abyss.
• W70 is the Official Zmi World but it's so crowded there so I recommend a other world. http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_wink.gif
• If you want a lag free world go W150 (French Server). It's s much faster. I also use it when I runecraft.
