Hello and welcome to my guide! First of all, i would like to say this guide has alot of the smithing methods that i know enough about to use in this guide, and the only method i have not included is the blast furnace one as i have never used it and know little about it. Over the course of this guide i shall give methods to suit all people, the rich and the poorer alike.

Now to business, below i shall list requirements to be able to do ALL methods talked about during this guide. You do not have to have all of them but most are recommended:

* 80+ Mining level
* 43+ Mage level
* Family crest quest to gain access to goldsmithing gauntlets
* Dwarf cannon quest
* 40+ Mining and Smithing for use of sacred clay hammers and pickaxes

For smelting bars always use the edgeville furnace as it is closest one to a bank.

For smithing items always use the varrock anvil as it is closest one to bank.

If possible always use sacred clay hammers for smithing to minimise loss. http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/3539/100831161802.png

To start with smith the best bronze item you can till you can do bronze plates

Once you can do bronze plates keep on smithing them until level 22

Now smith iron knives until level till 35 if you want it to be cheaper or simply make the best iron item you can make just like you did with bronze, once at level 35 for this profitable method you will only be making one type of item until you are at the level you want to be, and that item is cannonballs.
