I still personally haven't gotten RFD gloves, so hopefully this guide helps some of you guys too, instead of just me. A lot of the items for the subquests of RFD are pretty weird, so this guide will show where to get every item before you start questing.


Skill, Quest and Item Requirements for Mithril Gloves: (how to get each item).

Part I: The Cook
Skills: 10 Cooking
Quests: Cook’s Assistant
Items:
1x Ashes: Create a fire and loot the ashes
1x Cocktail Glass:  Bought from Funch’s Fine Groceries inside Tree Gnome Stronghold
1x Cocktail Shaker:  Bought from Heckel Funch in the Grand Tree
1x Eye of Newt:  Port Sarim
1x Greenmans Ale:   Yanille Pub
1x Knife:  Behind the Axe Shop in Lumbridge
2x: Lemon:  Grand Tree
1x Orange:  Grand Tree
1x Pineapple:  Grand Tree
1x Rotten Tomato:  Bought from Duel Arena in Al Kharid
Note:  Fruit Blast can be had for free if you talk to Blurberry and do the challenge and make it yourself (buy the orange from the guy though) for goblin part)


Part II:  Freeing the Mountain Dwarf
Skills: None
Quests:  Fishing Contest
Items:
A minimum of 316 coins
Bucket of Milk:  Use a bucket on the cows in Lumbridge
Pot of flour:  Bought from then General store in Port Sarim
Egg:  Looted from the chicken place in Lumbridge
Bowl of Water:  Buy a bowl from any general store and use it on a water source
A minimum of 4 Asgnarnian Ales:  Bought from Falador Pub
Any gloves:  Player made/bought


Part III:  Freeing the Goblins
Skills: None
Quests:  Goblin Diplomacy Quest
Items:
Charcoal:  Purchased from then general store in Shilo Village (near the nature rune altar)
Gnome Spice:  The Grand Tree cooking shops
Fishing Bait:  Port Sarim
Jug or bowl of water:  General shop anywhere
Bread:  Stolen from the cake stall in Ardoughne
Orange Slices:  The Grand Tree Cooking shops (buy an orange and use a knife on it)
Any dye excluding orange, red, pink, or yellow:  Player-made in Draynor Village


Part IV:  Freeing Pirate Pete
Skills:  31 Cooking
Quests:  None
Items:
3 Bronze Wires:  Made by using 1 bronze bar on an anvil (don’t waste your money)
Needle:  Bought from Dommik in Al Kharid
Fishbowl:  Player Bought for 2-3k
Pestle and mortar:  Herblore store in Taverly
Raw cod:  with 23 fishing you can fish cod at Catherby Shore with a Big fishing net
Bread:  Stole from the cake stall in Ardy
Knife:  Located behind the Axe Shop in Lumbridge


Part V:  Freeing Evil Dave
Skills: 25 Cooking
Quests:  Gertrudes Cat and Shadow of the Storm
Items:
Kitten/Cat:  Obtained in Gertrudes Cat Quest
Lots of Stews:  You can buy these at the Seers’ Village pub for 20 gp each, you’ll need 9 stews.


Part VI:  Freeing Skrach Uglowee
Skills:  41 Cooking and 20 Firemaking
Quests:  Big Chompy Bird Hunting
Items:
Hatchet:  Bought from Bob in Lumbridge
Pickaxe:  You should have one from Tutorial Island
Any Ogre Bow:  Obtained during Big Chompy Bird hunting quest
Any Ogre/brutal arrows:  Obtained during Big Chompy Bird hunting quest
Iron Spit:  Use one iron bar on an anvil (17 smithing)
Log:  Cut a tree
Tinderbox:  Any General store
Ball of Wool:  Sheer a sheep and use the wool in a spinning wheel found on the second floor of lumbridge castle
Ogre Bellows:  Obtained during Big Chompy Bird hunting quest


This next section will tell you what items you can get in each city where you don't have to walk all the way back to places for different quests.  I highly suggest using this, it'll make it quicker for you in the end.

Lumbridge items:
