Most of you have probably tried the new CLW update and tested all of the maps. What are your initial thoughts?

Personally think most of them aren't that fantastic. They all seem rather lacklustre in truth, looks like Jogex didn't put much effort into them at all. Although there are some cool maps w/ interesting features (Ethereal; mystic symbol teleportation, Ghastly Swamp; Ghasts) the majority are ordinary.

Sylvan Glade/Northleach probably my favourite because (thank fuck) they aren't fucking barren wastelands.

the p2p maps are pretty lulz

Northleach Quell (P2P) Snowy area, 4 main islands connected by narrow pathways. A little like L50 Volc but snowy lol

Gridlock - Absolutely massive (P2P). Huge map, 4 corners, big ridges divide the 4 sections and all intersect at middle. low terrain at mid is how u cross between.

Wasteland - equiv to CLW Classic map. Doesn't have same tree/barriers in the middle, just plain/flat. Nothing much on the map aside from J Lava and trees. Single starts once you go past J lava/get into trees.

GOOD OLD CLAN CUP ARENA - Each team starts on Southern side (SW/SE corners). Map split 3 ways SW/SE/North.

Turrets - Same as before but now each side has one long turrent in the middle of it. It's ok

Ghastly Swamp (P2P) - All multi, identical sides, ghasts spawn once gate drops and rot food (same as mort myre basically)

Ethereal (P2P) No barriers, you use mystic symbols to cross onto other side of map etcetcetc
