Quick tutorial on how to install Camtasia for free since the old tutorials no longer work.

Please do the following IN ORDER:

1.) Remove any previous installations of Camtasia.
2.) Download Camtasia. I uploaded it here but you can download your own if you'd like.

3.) Unzip the folder and run the installer. Read step 4 before continuing. Use the keys provided below:

4.) DO NOT RUN THE PROGRAM AFTER INSTALLATION. Open up notepad as administrator and from file select open and navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc. On the bottom right of the window select show all files and select the file named "hosts".

5.) Add the following to the bottom of the hosts file and save:

127.0.0.1 activation.cloud.techsmith.com

5.) Now run Camtasia and you should be set.
