Homosexuality - The Debate


I've never really ask you guys what you really think of Homosexuality in general. Here's a chance for me to ask you on three subjects which currently target our Media. I'll not ask this topic to be moderated, feel free to debate the subject freely.



Death Penalty and other forms are put on gay people in many Western Countries. It's Illegal with Civil Rights being low, do you agree with this? (Israel is an exception with some of the highest Civil Rights in the World)


The two main points which will be most debated will be Religion and Politics.



What is Homosexuality?

Personally, I believe gays not being able to donate blood is out-dated. Everyone is now at risk of catching HIV/AIDS at the same level.

hm i dont really care, blood donations are controlled a lot nowadays so no problem there.....if u like other guys then u like other guys. im not gonna go crazy on some1 for liking same sex.

about the religious controversy it brings about, I can personally care less whether or not it is allowed, but the religion I am associated with does not approve it. It does pose a problem with my morals, but people should be able to do what they think is right. Whether it is right or not is up to God to decide.  It was not stated in the Bible that homosexuality was morally or religiously wrong, so I don't know where it came about for the Church to say it is. If I am wrong, give me sufficient truth.


As for the voting, the blood donations are already regulated a lot - meaning it doesn't make a difference. Someone could be the straightest person in the world and still get turned down.

About accepting it, I can care less, as long as it doesn't begin to affect me, affect my life, or if it becomes illegal in the state I live in.


About marriage, I do not care either.

I love the fact your open-minded and don't care, I wish other people could be more like you. The Bible does state a few terms about Homosexuality. From reading some of the Bible, I haven't found it being a sin.
