No, the reason we pwned them was because we had a number advantage. Main clans will catch on that we took advantage of that and end up stop giving us fights (and simply outnumbering clans and raping them will get boring and we need matched opts fights for weekly evnets). Pure clanning will never come back, it's as good as dead. We can't get any matched fights and I don't think any clan could pull more than 10 at this point. With defense we can get matched fights as much as we use to get preps because there are so many more main clans out there that are still alive. It's only logical.

Yes, that is why we fell in love with pures in RS2 but you have to understand that in this EOC update you are essentially a one bang with 1 def (literally)
20 defense is completely useless and 34 defense is the the highest effective defense level that is under 40 defense. Now 40 defense is pointless too because we can't play this game by the standards of rs2 anymore since its a new game. so then 49 defense would probably be thought of as pure now since its under rune armor.

Jagex destroyed the effectiveness of pures and as other pures finally come out of denial and realize it, every clan will slowly close and it won't be pretty.
If you want to live in the past go ahead but i am exited for this transition into the main world if it does happen. Honestly we will compete with the top 5... against the top clans in runescape. Doesn't that appeal to you?

Don't get me wrong if we still had Rs2 i would hate the fact that we're going main. I would have never taken a part in it but this update makes pure clans pointless. Its time to move on to greater things my friend.
