I'd say for me, my genuine advice to people is that school isn't going to teach you everything. @Drunk went to school for computer science and he basically taught himself everything that he uses for real world use and at his job. I go to school for real estate and I have taught myself everything, basically my schooling just is giving me a piece of paper. It definitely can help teach fundamentals, but it basically skims the top of every subject. No job is titled "Basics of Computer Science," it'll be a certain subject of computer science.

Basically, teach yourself things. Read stuff online, watch videos. You'll feel miles ahead of everyone else in your classes.


Oh and another thing, if you genuinely don't understand financials, beyond personal savings, please god talk to a financial advisor at your bank or ask someone you know who knows anything about it. Feel free to ask me if you're willing to give any information to me.
